Watercolor and ink, 5.5×8”

This hike was a particularly memorable one as it was unseasonably warm at the beginning of December. However, the conditions were perfect for Chasm Lake to be perfectly frozen and smooth, and there was a big group of people that had hiked up hockey gear and were playing on the lake. It was great entertainment while I painted!
